Mahidol University’s Siriraj Hospital, established in 1889, is one of Thailand’s premier medical institutions. It not only holds the distinction of being the oldest hospital in the country but also operates with a capacity of over 2,000 beds.

Under the terms of this research agreement, both parties will collaborate over the next year to use brain SMWI MRI scans of Thai patients and analyze them by using Heuron’s Parkinson’s disease AI diagnostic-aid solutions, Heuron IPD and Heuron NI, to validate the performance of each solution.

Heuron’s CEO, Dr. Dong-Hoon Shin, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating: “We are delighted to enter into a research partnership with Mahidol University and Siriraj Hospital, which have demonstrated world-class expertise in Parkinson’s disease research. We hope that this research agreement will not only validate the effectiveness of Heuron’s AI solutions for the Thai population but also serve as a stepping stone for Heuron’s expansion into the Thai market.”
